Baptist Health Care Nationally Recognized As One of Training Magazine’s Top 125


Baptist Health Care (BHC) again has earned a spot on Training Magazine’s Top 125 corporate institutions in the U.S.. Baptist Health Care was recognized as Training Magazine’s No. 39 out of the top 125 corporate institutions in the U.S. for team member training and people development.

More than 10 years ago the locally owned and operated health care system established a corporate-wide leadership and development initiative known as Baptist University. The program brings leaders together quarterly for training and development.

Baptist University’s curriculum makes classes and programs available to all employees. All staff members are required to complete 60 hours of learning each year. Classes range from peer interviewing and ethics to required clinical courses. Baptist Health Care also offers employees partial reimbursement for college undergraduate and graduate degree programs.

The emphasis on continuing education extends from the philosophy that an organization’s success and sustainability is contingent upon the knowledge and training of its employees- a belief supported by Baptist Health Care senior leadership.
