Option 1

Baptist Health Care provides flexible payment plans through the CarePayment® program to patients receiving care at Baptist and Gulf Breeze hospitals. Regardless of insurance coverage, credit history or employment, CarePayment® provides generous terms available to everyone.

CarePayment® features include:

  • 0.00% APR financing
  • No application required
  • Minimum monthly payments of 4 percent of the highest balance or $25, whichever is greater
  • Patients making payments on existing accounts with Baptist and Gulf Breeze hospitals may still take advantage of this program and have the charges on those existing accounts added to their CarePayment® plan, also at no interest.

You may enroll at your convenience. Payment plans are set up for a period of up to 25 months but can be paid off at any time. Once enrolled, you will receive statements directly from CarePayment®. Statements provide your overall balance, minimum payment information, and the next payment due date.

You also may use the CarePayment® website to manage your account at any time.

Eligibility

Financial assistance covers ONLY hospital expenses. It does not cover care provided by a physician or ambulance service.

Financial assistance may be available to Medicare recipients and patients who do not have insurance. We also may be able to help those with insurance plans that leave the patient to personally pay out-of-pocket for 40 percent or more of hospital costs and have a household income at or below 200 percent of federal poverty level.

Financial assistance may cover continued care for patients seen at a Baptist Health Care hospital for an emergent event. With financial assistance, patients can receive up to six months of continued care without having to reapply.


Notification of Eligibility

Applicants will be notified by letter regarding their Financial Assistance application status.


Billing

Financial assistance will not begin until all required information is received. Until that time, your account will be billed to hospital costs and you will be responsible for payment of those costs. If supporting documentation is not submitted with the financial statement and/or falsification of any portion of the application is identified, applications will be denied.
