Outreach Education CPR for Family & Friends
Three lay rescuer choices are available for this program: CPR for All ages, CPR for Adults and CPR for Pediatrics. This courses teach CPR and relief of choking for the responsive victim. They present information on the Adult and Pediatric Chain of Survival, information on Heart Attack, Cardiac Arrest, and Stoke as well as information on the prevention of childhood accidents.
These courses are not regularly scheduled classes. However, they are available upon request in groups of six. Participants do not take a written test and receive a participation card.
These courses are ideal for lay rescuers such as school children, family members of patients at risk for a sudden cardiac arrest, mothers-to-be and family members, and other laypersons who want to learn the skills of CPR.
