Baptist Manor CNA Test Prep Class

Baptist Manor offers a free class to help individuals prepare for the certified nursing assistant state exam. There is no cost for the class or the test, but students are asked to make a one-year commitment to work at Baptist Manor.

Classes are held for Monday through Friday for two weeks every 3 months and are typically from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Exams are scheduled as soon as possible following the class completion. Students that successfully pass the exam, have good attendance and positive attitudes and demonstrate teamwork and working knowledge of technical skills will be interviewed for a contingent job offer at Baptist Manor.

Before being accepted in the class the applicant must:

• Pass a drug screen and have TB skin test
• Have an interest in working with the elderly and an interest in a medical career
• Complete an initial interview and a peer interview
• Pass Florida Department of Law Enforcement Criminal History check
• Provide past five years work history with phone numbers for reference check
• Have valid identification and reliable transportation
• “Shadow” with a CNA currently working at Baptist Manor
