GoldenCare Membership Card
The GoldenCare membership care makes hospital registration process quick and easy. By showing the GoldenCare membership card, a 20% discount will be given at the Atmore Community Hospital Cafeteria. Additional benefits and discounts will be announced.
Advance Directives
Baptist Health Care’s Golden Care program offers this seminar to help people understand laws concerning advance directives such as living wills and health care surrogates. Seminars are held annually at the six affilliates. Please refer to the calendar of events for a location nearby. Reservations are requested.
AARP Driver Safety Program
GoldenCare is offering a mature driving refresher course for drivers age 50 and older. Classroom instruction refines existing skills and develops safe, defensive driving techniques. Graduates may qualify for a reduction in automobile insurance premium.
Classes are offered monthly, except December, at Baptist Medical Park Nine Mile – Azalea Room and Baptist Hospital – Heritage Room. Classes fill quickly. Registration is required.
AARP charges a small fee for this class. To register for classes at Baptist Medical Park Nine Mile or Baptist Hospital, call the Council on Aging at (850) 432-1475.
Insurance Assistance Program
GoldenCare is offering the Serving the Health Insurance
Needs of Seniors (S.H.I.N.E.) program, a program of Florida Department of Elder Affairs. This program assists seniors with health insurance questions by providing information, comparing policies, organizing paperwork and filing claims and appeals. Free help is offered in Pensacola and in Jay.
Appointments are required by calling (850) 469-7897 for Pensacola and (850) 675-6610 for Jay.
LifeLine Personal Response System
For over 20 years, Lifeline personal emergency response service has been North America’s leading personal response system. Lifeline can help give confidence to continue to live independently in the home by ensuring that help is just a button push away.

Telecare
If you live alone, you can receive a daily phone call from your Telecare representative to see how you are doing. This is just one more free service of Baptist Health Care. To sign up for this service, call (850) 434-4935. |

When you need a doctor, call Baptist HealthSource. We will help you find a doctor who has the right specialty, who has an office close to you and who accepts your insurance plan or Medicare assignment. It’s free and it’s easy. ScriptSave
One of the many free benefits of GoldenCare membership is the prescription drug program, ScriptSave. GoldenCare members receive this service absolutely free, just by being a member of GoldenCare.
This prescription drug savings card may save 5, 10, 20 percent, sometimes more on the prescription drugs bought. Just by presenting the ScriptSave card at a participating pharmacy, the lowest price possible will be charged.

Complimentary Paper, TV & Phone
Complimentary local newspaper, cable television and local phone use are a few of the things that make you feel more at home during your hospital stay.
Complimentary Guest Meal
GoldenCare members will receive a discount meal coupon during an in-patient hospital stay for the caregiver. Your caregiver may pick up a meal ticket and a complimentary newspaper at the Information Desk in the lobby of Baptist Hospital, Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. If you are admitted after hours or on the weekend, please call the Nursing Supervisor at (850) 434-4911 for meal tickets.

- Baptist Medical Park Navarre — Medical Office Bldg. The second Friday of the month, 7:30 a.m. light refreshments, 8 a.m. program.
- Baptist Medical Park Nine Mile — Azalea Room The third Thursday of the month, 1:30 p.m. dessert, 2 p.m. program.
- Gulf Breeze Hospital — Cafeteria – The fourth Tuesday of the month, 7:30 a.m. blood pressure screenings and light refreshments, 8 a.m. program.
- Atmore Community Hospital — Mayson Auditorium – The fourth Wednesday of the month, 8:30 a.m. blood pressure screenings and light refreshments, 9 a.m. program.
- Jay Hospital — Jay Community Center –The third Wednesday of the month, 9:15 a.m. coffee, 9:30 a.m. program.
