Lakeview Center, Inc. offers Driver Education for the residents of Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties in the Florida panhandle. Our goal is to improve driver attitude, behavior and values. Each curriculum is approved by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles and provided by the National Traffic Safety Institute (NTSI). The courses are offered at the DUI Program & Driver Education location at 6425 N. Pensacola, Bldg 2. Find us on the northwest corner of Pensacola Blvd. (Hwy 29) and Marcus Point Blvd., in the "Car City" area of Pensacola.

You can now take your Basic Driver Improvement Course (BDI), Traffic Collision Avoidance Course (TCAC), or Drug Alcohol Traffic Education Course (DATE) online. Register for Online Courses
Basic Driver Improvement Course (BDI) |
This is a 4-hour course available to anyone who wants to realize a reduction in the cost of auto insurance or who wants to avoid points against their driver license and pay a discounted fine on a traffic citation (life time limit of 5 and not within 12 months). If you elect to take this course for insurance or job purposes, where there is no ticket, it does not count against the lifetime limit. Fee: $30.00 per course
Traffic Collision Avoidance Course (TCAC) |
This 4-hour course is available to people who are required by DHSMV or by a Judge to take TCAC after an accident. Fee: $30.00 per course
Advanced Driver Improvement Course (ADI) |
This is a 12-hour course available to drivers who are required by DHSMV as a result of driver license suspension or by a Judge during sentencing or as part of the application for a hardship driver license. Fee: $75.00 per course
Drug Alcohol Traffic Education (DATE) |
A Traffic Law and Substance Abuse Education course is required before the written test for your first driver's license. We offer the 4-hour Drug Alcohol Traffic Education (DATE) course to drivers who are seeking their first driver license. Fee: $30.00 per course

Prospective students for any of these driver education courses can appear in person with cash, money order or pay with Visa or MasterCard at our Milton or Pensacola offices to register. If you intend to pay with Visa or MasterCard, you can register by phone. Registration hours are 8 AM 4:30 PM Monday - Friday, except holidays.
