Intensive Outpatient (Adult)

Treatment groups are 20 hours each week, offered in day or night settings. Individual sessions are recommended and scheduled with each client's primary counselor. This service coordinates mental health services when needed for co-occurring diagnoses and uses well-established, research-based treatment methods that have proven effective for treating addiction.

Located near Gulf Breeze, Florida, The Friary is a residential and outpatient treatment facility for people with alcohol and drug dependencies. By addressing multiple aspects of addiction, The Friary helps its clients develop strengths and skills necessary for recovery. Individual counseling also is provided. Additionally, Pathway will coordinate mental health services for clients with dual diagnoses. Pathway uses well-established, research-based methods that have proven effective for treating addiction.

This special treatment program operates in conjunction with the Escambia County Drug Court. Clients participate in an intensive outpatient regimen that provides treatment for 20 hours each week in either a day or night setting. Its treatment staff works cooperatively with the court to equip clients with skills necessary for a clean and sober lifestyle while meeting the legal requirements associated with the criminal justice system.
