Telemedicine

Telemedicine helps us connect with the far-reaching community to ensure those residents also receive needed psychiatric services.

From our Century office location we use secured, interactive videoconferencing technology to provide psychiatric services to clients who live the rural areas of Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. The Lakeview Center telemedicine program uses board-certified psychiatrists or psychiatric nurse practitioners and other mid-level providers for consultations, client evaluations and medication management. These services are rendered on a contractual basis and are ideal for primary care practices, smaller mental health clinics and larger providers that are experiencing overwhelming demand. 

Telemedicine also helps eliminate distance barriers to services that may not be consistently available in rural communities.
