The Emergency Trauma Center at Baptist Hospital has recently completed a $2.5 million renovation and expansion, providing state-of-the-art equipment, and a 24-bed capacity with two trauma rooms. Fast Track has six additional beds for non-urgent patients.
The new emergency department features sophisticated Hewlett Packard cardiac monitors, a patient call system, bedside registration and a trauma room that functions as an operating room. |
With this expansion, Baptist Hospital's trauma center can now handle the rapidly growing and increasingly complex emergency case load it faces each day.
