Day Treatment (Adult)
Lakeview Center offers several day treatment programs for adults with serious mental illness. Each helps clients build and maintain skills that will allow them to continue to live independently in the community. These programs provide intensive, therapeutic support in community settings, promoting wellness and decreasing the need for hospitalization.
Adult Day Treatment
Intended for people who require a more intensive level of treatment than traditional outpatient services, Adult Day Treatment provides meaningful activities and learning experiences for men and women with serious mental illnesses. It uses group therapy, social activities, recreation and exercise to promote wellness and reduce the need for inpatient hospitalization.
Dual Diagnosis Program
The Dual Diagnosis Program provides day treatment services to people who are dealing with both mental illness and addiction disorders. The goal of the progam is to teach and encourage substance-free life styles while maintaining or improving overall behavioral health.
Social Activity Program
Designed to enhance the community living skills of people with chronic mental illness, the Social Activity Program provides a supportive and engaging environment where clients participate in various social, therapeutic and educational activities. Services are provided both individually and in groups. The focus is on maintaining or improving each client's level of functioning and to prevent relapse and the need for a more intensive level of services.

Avalon Center in Milton provides an adult Social Activity Program for people with serious and persistent mental illness. This program is designed to enhance community living and social skills, enabling clients to live in the least restrictive environment and remain in the community.
