The Friary is located on Pensacola Bay. The property was originally

The entire Friary staff are aware of the difficultys associated with
coming into treatment and make every effort to make you feel welcome
and safe.

Our Medical Director is certified as an Addictionologist, that is,

a recovery program of their own.

Many insurance policies cover treatment for alcoholism and addiction.
We are providers for many area and national managed care companies.

9.) What
types of programs do you offer?
We offer four levels of care including two residential and two outpatient.

services are Partial Hospitalization (Day Treatment) and Intensive
Outpatient Program (3 mornings a week). Many patients move through
several levels of care during their treatment program.

A family education day is conducted every Friday. Continuing Care groups
for family and patients are also offered. Limited visitation is also
available for family members.

kind of follow-up does your facility offer?
Weekly Continuing Care meetings are held at The Friary, in Pensacola

Following discharge, calls are placed on a regular basis by the Continuing
Care Coordinator. We work with patients who live outside the area to
connect them with their area resources.
12.) How
can Alumni stay involved?
Our Alumni Association meets each month. They provide a structure for
maintaining contact with The Friary and helping new patients. Projects
range from planning social activities to assisting patients to make

to answer questions and give support once the patients has left treatment.
